Our territory is characterized by the variety of experiences and emotions it can give us in all seasons.

 

Verona

Verona famous historical city of love, characterized by rich testimonies of Roman age, which include Porta Borsari, Porta Leoni, the Arco dei Gavi, which was dismantled during the few years of Napoleonic hegemony and reassembled next to Castelvecchio in the 1930s , the Ponte Pietra, the Teatro Romano and the Arena Amphitheater, symbol of the city together with Romeo and Juliet, a tragedy that the English playwright and poet William Shakespeare set in medieval Verona. The Scaligeri expanded the walls during the late Middle Ages, embracing a very vast territory that ended up preserving and containing the inhabited area until the early twentieth century and inside which the heart of Verona is located, consisting of Piazza delle Erbe (with the picturesque market of fruit and vegetables) and the Piazza dei Signori, around which monumental buildings emerge such as the Palazzo della Ragione, the Palazzo del Podestà, the Loggia del Consiglio and the Arche Scaligere. Do not miss also Piazza Bra, characterized by a schedule of buildings dating back to different eras including the Arena Romana, the Gran Guardia and Palazzo Barbieri, but there are also individual buildings and ecclesiastical complexes of great value scattered throughout the city, such as the Basilica of San Zeno, the Basilica of Santa Anastasia and the Duomo di Verona.

There are those who define Verona as a splendid painting, small villages with characteristic colored houses and magnificent villas, a symbol of ancient and refined prosperity.

There are also numerous castles, towers, hermitages, monasteries, sanctuaries and ancient Romanesque parishes scattered throughout the Verona area, evidence of considerable artistic and historical interest. Lake Garda

The Garda lake that characterizes our territory with its splendid and very characteristic villages. During the summer you can experience it relaxing on the beaches and cooling off as needed. In the evening you can delight in excellent food and enjoy cheerful walks often accompanied by live music given by the various refreshments. During the Christmas period, the villages, decorated for the festival, are filled with typical Christmas stalls that give unique emotions.
In particular, we recommend you to visit Sirmione, Lasize, Bardolino, Garda, Malcesine, Riva del Garda and Limone.

Valeggio and Borghetto sul Mincio

Recognized “City of Art”, Valeggio is the place for a complete holiday: sports facilities, parks, riding stables, restaurants, artistic itineraries, cycle paths and a rich calendar of events, are the elements for a truly unforgettable stay (visit the website of valeggio). In particular, we recommend you to visit Borghetto sul Mincio, Parco Giardino Sigurtà and the Ponte Visconteo. Do not miss the characteristic event “tortellini and surroundings” (visit the tortelliniedintorni website) which fills the streets of Valeggio sul Mincio with food stalls in early September. It is possible to buy tickets to taste the particular and delicious tortellini, a typical Valeggiano dish.

Very famous is also the Parco Sicurtà (visit the site of sigurta) where you can walk in the middle of nature and you can find splendid blooms or fascinating autumn colors according to the seasons. Do not miss the famous Borgo di Borghetto, already awarded for being one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, its characteristic bridges and the atmosphere you breathe are unique.

Monte Baldo

We also have Monte Baldo, its wonderful walks in the middle of nature give us breathtaking views. It is also surrounded by characteristic huts where you can taste delicious dishes. There are both simple routes to do even with children, and longer and more demanding routes for the more adventurous (visit the site) During these routes you can often find chamois and marmots, some routes are also characterized by the remains of fortresses left by the second World War.

Mantova city

Just 40 km away is also the enchanting center of Mantua surrounded by 3 artificial lakes, known for the Renaissance architecture of its buildings, such as the ducal palace.
